After breakfast, we will visit one of the female locals who will host us for a cooking class experience. She will share some authentic recipes that have been in her family for generations and you will be able to join her in making these dishes. When the dishes are ready, we'll all sit together to enjoy the dishes we've prepared, experiencing the true essence of Ghanaian hospitality and family dining.

In the morning, we will visit the Aburi Botanical Garden which offers a refreshing climate that supports diverse plant life. The garden is home to ancient silk cotton trees, rare species of plants, palm species, and local medicinal herbs. The gardens played a crucial role in Ghana's agricultural history, serving as a research center for introducing and cultivating economic plants like cocoa and rubber during the colonial era.

Afterwards, we will experience an ATV ride that offers an exhilarating off-road experience through Ghana's stunning Eastern Region landscape. Riders explore a network of scenic trails!

30th December, 2025

Today is all about exploring the city of Accra, the capital of Ghana. The tour will begin with a visit to the WEB Dubois Center which was home to Dr Dubois, one of the pioneers of Pan-Africanism in the world. You will learn about some of his works and his contributions to the liberation of black people.

The second stop will be the Kwame Nkrumah Museum, where Dr Kwame Nkrumah, the first president of Ghana, is buried. This site tells the story of the fight of Ghana to gain independence from colonial rule and the role Dr Kwame Nkrumah played in the liberation of the country. You will also learn more about Ghana’s history and how it has shaped the country we know today.

Next stop is the Accra Arts Center, where you will get to shop for Ghanaian crafts for yourself and your loved ones. The center has all kinds of crafts, from paintings, jewelry, and carvings, to clothing, beads, shea butter and more. This is the best place to get crafts made by the locals and support their work.

The final stop of the day will be at the Independence Square to take some pictures at the famous Black Star Monument.

31st December, 2025

After breakfast, we will visit one of the local batik makers who will host us for a batik making experience. You will get to make your very own textile fabric during this experience. This rich tradition of African textiles is a cherished craft deeply rooted in Ghanaian culture and also serves as a major source of income for many people.

You will be able to make your own batik fabric not just as souvenirs, but as tangible memories of a day spent immersing themselves in Ghanaian culture and creativity.

Later in the evening, we will celebrate Ghana New Year’s Eve, with the option to ring in the New Year along the ocean or at one of Accra’s finest parties.

Wake up late today and relax at the hotel with an option for a spa day treatment (at additional cost).

2nd January, 2026

After breakfast, we will embark on Ghana tours from Accra. Drive 4 hours to visit the Kakum National Park and walk on the canopy walkway, made up of bridges suspended in the air and supported by the big trees in the forest. The bridges give a breathtaking bird's-eye view of the forest.

We will later visit the Cape Coast Slave Castle which was built by the British and is one of the three remaining slave castles in relation to the Transatlantic slave trade on the coast of Ghana. You will get to see the slave dungeons where the captives were kept and the door of no return.

We will later have a Naming Ceremony Experience where you will be given a local Ghanaian name, which will also signify the people’s hospitality and their willingness to accept you into their family.

Unfortunately, all beautiful things come to an end and so does this memorable experience. You will prepare for your departure and depending on the time of your flight, your local guide will transfer you from the hotel to the airport.
